Screw July 4th, let's party on July 5th.
I know some tumblrs around here haven’t disappeared to some beach this weekend. Jay is cooking himself like a bacon today, but he’ll return tomorrow, and he recommended that we do something. So, let’s do something!
I have no time-table for getting out or whatever, but we do have some options:
Fat Cat - THE RETURN. We do American things like ping pong, pool, and board games, while drinking.
Bar on 9th ave and 48th street - Jay or Lauren can clarify (I forgot the name), but there’s this bar out there that serves free hot dogs. That’s American too. Cheap beer as well, but I could see this place being packed.
Other ideas?
I’m down for meeting up for a bit. I think we’re at that point in our relationship where you all should really meet my parents. (Someone needs to talk my mom into getting a tumblr.) Whatever is decided, we may stop by for a drink or two depending on what time of the evening it is. The Cardinals/Cubs game is at 3:15pm and we’ll probably be at Dewey’s for that.
